Gluten-Free Pudding Chômeur

Ingredients:

• 1 cup Yupik Organic All-Purpose Flour Mix (Gluten Free)
• 1 ½ tsp Yupik Baking Powder
• ½ tsp Yupik Cinnamon Powder
• ½ cup maple syrup
• 1 egg
• ¼ cup whole milk
• ½ tsp vanilla extract
• 2 cups brown sugar
• 1 tablespoon butter
• 1 cup water
• ½ cup heavy cream
• ¼ cup Yupik Cranberries
• ¼ cup Yupik Raw Whole Cashews
• ¼ cup Yupik Macadamia Nuts Medium Pieces

Method:

1. Preheat oven to 400 °F. Grease an 8” round glass baking dish.
2. Cream sugar and butter. Add the egg, milk, and vanilla extract, then the flour, cinnamon, and baking powder. Mix to achieve a batter-like consistency.
3. In the baking dish, mix water, maple syrup, brown sugar, and heavy cream. Sprinkle the nuts and cranberries into the dish. Spoon the batter on top.
4. Bake for 30 to 35 minutes. Rest for 15 minutes before serving.
