ABOUT SAFFRON: Did you know?
Saffron is the most expensive spice in the world! Saffron is a yellow stigma derived from small purple crocuses; a flower that produces only 3 yellow stigmas. Because it produces so little, and imparts such a unique color and flavor, saffron is highly regarded in the culinary world.
