Preserved Cashews

Ingredients:

 

Cashews

  • 454 g Yupik Organic Raw Cashews
  • 1 l apricot preserves
  • 1 sprig fresh thyme

 

Material

  • 2 l Mason jar
  • Twine
  • Wax paper

 

Method:

  1. Fill the Mason jar with the raw cashews and the sprig of fresh thyme.
  2. In a saucepan, heat the apricot preserves. Once it is bubbling, pour it into the Mason jar.
  3. Let cool for 30 minutes before sealing with wax paper and twine.
  4. Mature the mix for 1 month in a cool, dry place out of direct sunlight.
