ORGANIC STEVIA LEAF POWDER

Yupik organic stevia powder is obtained from finely ground stevia leaves. It is a green, all-natural sweetener that is primarily grown in South America and Asia. It can also be used in baking recipes but it is important to have a light hand when using it – a little goes a long way!

COOKING TIPS

Yupik organic stevia powder can be used to replace sugar in baking recipes. A half teaspoon of stevia powder approximately equals ¾ cup of sugar.

Unlike refined sugar, stevia doesn’t caramelize like and does not brown when baking. The best way to know when a stevia powered baked goods is done is to use a toothpick to check for doneness. You just need to put the toothpick into the middle of it and verify how it comes out. If it looks wet, it means your baked good still needs to bake a little longer.
